DOG COAT SIZE CHART (IMPERIAL)

DOG COAT SIZE CHART (metric)

Step 1 - Measure Your Dog

Measure your dog's neck, chest and back using the instructions below. Make sure you use a soft, tailor’s measuring tape to measure your dog. Do not use a hard straight ruler or carpenter's tape to measure your dog as this will give you an inaccurate measurement. If you don’t have a soft measuring tape, use some thick string to take the measurements and then mark that against a ruler or carpenter's measuring tape.
neck
Measure around your dog’s neck where the collar normally sits.
Place two fingers flat under the measuring tape while doing this to get a comfortable size.
chest
Measure around your dog’s chest at the widest point, typically just slightly behind their front legs and before where the waist starts.
Place two fingers flat under the measuring tape to give some room for flexibility.
If your dog wears a harness under the coat put the harness on and include the harness in your measurements.
back
Measure from the Neck down to the base of the Tail.
* Your dog's spine MUST be straight when you are measuring. If they are turning in any way the measurement will be inaccurate.
Check out the video below to watch how to measure your dog.
If you are having troubles with the measurements or having a tough time deciding what size to order, feel free to just shoot me an email.
Step 2 - Choose Dog shape
No two dogs are alike, so we created three categories to accommodate all the different shapes dogs come in.
These are Standard (S), Long (L), and Burly (B). Check the images and description below to see what shape your dog is.
Standard (S)

We have a full set of Standard sizes which are for dogs that have a round chest shape. Look for sizes with an S (e.g. 3-S)
Long (L)

Our Long and Lean sizes are for dogs with oval shaped chests, slim waists, and long backs. Look for sizes with an L (e.g. 3-L)
Burly (B)

We have 4 Burly sizes which are for dogs that have barrel shaped chests and shorter backs. Look for sizes with a B (e.g. 3-B)
Step 3 - Choose coat SIZE
Now match your measurements to the chart (either Imperial or Metric) on the other tabs to determine the best size to order.
