The Cozy dog coat is one of our simplest and most customizable coat patterns. Instructions are given for how to increase or decrease the coat length if you want to make it shorter or longer. This is a lined coat constructed with only one main piece for the body and a simple collar. It is fastened with hook and loop fastener at the chest and belly. The coat is typically made with a water-resistant outer fabric layer and a soft fleece inner lining, but you can make it in any fabric you choose. If you'd prefer a lighter coat, choose a mesh lining instead.
